So, now comes the fun part: building your portfolio! If you're on a tight budget, there are many free portfolio sites out there.


Free Portfolio Websites: Websites like Adobe Portfolio offer free templates that are perfect for building a professional-looking portfolio quickly.


Here are a few tools and resources I recommend to get started:


Canva: Canva is an excellent tool for designing eye-catching graphics and creating visual content for your portfolio. They offer plenty of free templates that are easy to customize. It's easy to use, here is the for you to start creating.

WordPress: WordPress is one of the most popular platforms for building websites. It’s versatile, has tons of templates, and allows you to easily create a portfolio with no coding experience needed. They offer both free and paid versions. Check out, and see if fit your needs.

Behance: Behance is another great platform for creatives, especially if you’re focusing on visual marketing like graphic design or video. It’s a portfolio platform built by Adobe, and many creative professionals showcase their work here. Go ahead and create a free Behance account here.

Wix or Squarespace: Both of these platforms are beginner-friendly and offer free plans with easy drag-and-drop features. Great for students who want a professional look without the need for technical skills. I encourage you to know Wix Studio.

Ok, you might be saying: "Adson, I don't have any design skills. It will take ages for to design something." Although, it is important to understand design fundamentals, you don't necessarily need to be an expert on designing. Just start doing, and soon you will see how you can improve quickly. At the end is a matter of showing your work, skills, and past projects, so keep simple when designing the layout of your web portfolio.
