Alright, you’ve built your portfolio – now what? It’s time to make sure you’re using it to its full potential during your job search. Here are four suggestions to integrate your portfolio into your resume:

integrating elements into resume

Include It in Your Resume: In your resume, be sure to include a link to your portfolio. Make it prominent, like in your contact section, so hiring managers can easily access it. You can also mention specific projects from your portfolio in your work experience section to give them context.

Incorporate It Into Your Cover Letter: Your cover letter is your chance to tell your story, so why not direct the reader to your portfolio where they can see examples of your work? When discussing your experience, you can reference specific projects and invite them to check out more details on your portfolio website.

LinkedIn Integration: Add your portfolio link to your LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn allows you to include links to websites in your header, so make sure to add your portfolio to your profile's "Contact Info" section.

Personal Branding: Use your portfolio to showcase your personal brand. It’s not just about showing your work; it’s about showing your potential as a digital marketer. Make sure your portfolio reflects who you are – your style, your creativity, and your professional journey.
